American Soldiers is Axis Prisons Camps

By the time World War II ended in August 1945, over 140,000 American soldiers had been taken prisoner by Germany and Japan, including twenty-eight from Kossuth County. This exhibit examines the similarities and differences that the American POWs faced in Germany and Japan compared to the German POWs held at Camp Algona.
