Captain
Raymond K. Glattfelder
Captain Raymond Kenneth Glattfelder was the Adjutant Officer at Camp Algona. This put him in a position to be acquainted with every issue that passed the desk of Camp Commander A.T. Lobdell. He entered the army at age 33 as a Private, attended Officer Candidate School at Grinnell College, and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was stationed at Camp Dodge for one year before being assigned to Camp Algona.
